Hahaha~ I agree. Too much romance may more than often not dull the whole thing. Normality is good, in this case at least. Let's dance together in an empty elevator (hey that rhymes!) and have coffee and carrot cake afterwards. Though you'd have coffee and I'd just stick to juice. If we see any clowns, I'll bazooka them to the moon with my little friend and we can speed down the highway in a highjacked car (it doesn't bother me, really ^_^) kekeke~

Ah Paris...(I wrote an OS that took place in Paris lately and each word made me want to skip school and walk in the streets) I really loved Osaka and Kyoto, but that was a different feeling. Paris is like... when you had a very though week, you're restless and stuff... just hanging around my favorite places is enough to make me feel better. When I had really bad times last year, I walked a lot in the city... Yeah I guess you're right, this is the place I belong to... But I really want to study or work abroad...
When my mother asked me what I wanted for Xmas I said: Raspberry Macarons from La Durée!!!! They're just the best!! When I was in Tokyo, I went to Ginza especially to go to La Durée there to by some macarons and they were twice the price I pay in France. I was like O_o!! So I guess it's the same for you. We'll take advantage of you coming in Paris to eat some!! *is now hungry for macarons*
I guess diabetes is kind of restricting in everyday life but as times flies by, you get use to it right?
Yeah, I had a neurological disorder called Transverse myelitis. It's been more than a year now. I could walk well because I couldn't feel my legs and I was really weak. I got to the emergency and they did a lot of exams. I keep a really bad memory of lumbar puncture... Before they diagnosed the myelitis, they had several theory, each more and more frightening (a MD told me "if you see that you can't feel your hand or arm during the night, call us because it means that you will soon be unable to breath by yourself.... Well, sweet dreams!!") Doctors were afraid I wouldn't walk anymore because it was hard to find out which disorder I had and we didn't have much time since there was a rising paralysis... But anyway, today everything is completely fine, I just need to be careful about not being to tired but there's no reason that it comes back.
I feel old too when I'm around him. Yeah he's so cute!! And he knows it. He's the only one who really cares about me at home. Today he got hyper with his advent calendar!!

I kinda envy you in that sense. You've found your place, your own place that you love, the city you want to love and live in. I haven't found mine yet and I am hoping that I will find a place that'll let me be me and where I'll wake up one day and be sure of what I was never sure with the other places I've lived in. ^^ Macarons... I'm holding you to your promise. I'm gonna cajole some from my friend. She makes macarons for a hotel downtown, so I'm hoping she'll make me some? lol!
Studying and living abroad will be hard, for us especially. I found a book on pregnancy just now when I was out with my friends and it kinda made me sad somewhat. When i was first diagnosed, my doctor told me that I had a chance of being infertile, that I may never be able to conceive. It really... hurt. You know? As a 16 year old you're told that there is a possibility you will never carry a baby in you... It made me feel like I was a failure, as a woman. At 16 I was thinking about things like that. hahaha... I guess getting any form of illness at a young age causes you to grow up faster than you'd like. I try not to think about it, that I may not get pregnant. I just look at it in the sense that it's all God's will. And I know that whatever happens, I was created with a plan and purpose. lol! ahhh... Talking about these things... Yeah. it restricts alot of things that I do,really. Like studying abroad? I have to seriously think twice about it. I'm used to it but sometimes I just wish I could wake up one morning and it was cured and I won't have to live like this anymore. You ever feel that way?
Do you have restrictions in the things of your life? Like stuff you can't eat and all that? Sometimes I think the doctors all do guess work at our conditions, what were having and suffering from. They don't... really know what's going on? They just guess? Promise me you'll take care of yourself? Don't exhaust yourself and strain yourself too, ok? Do you have to go back to the hospital for check ups and all that? Sorry... I just never really had anyone to talk to about this, you know?

I, kinda felt something like that when I was in hospital... They tell you that you might not be able to be pregnant although you had never really thought about having children yet... I don't really know how to explain that but... somehow telling you that you may not be able to do something anymore... kinda make you think about it a lot. When I couldn't walk, and they told me I might not walk anymore, I thought about many things to do with legs... and that was a bit stupid ...
Oh I did, do and will. I've wish too many times not to be me (even if I'm absolutely awesome and that would be a pity not being me xD) and not having that black cloud with Neurological problems and Heart condition above my head.
Actually, the myelitis had no repercussions on my life, but my heart condition does. I can't do too much sports which is really hard on me. I've been used to play basket ball 10 hours a week plus competition... I need to be careful about stress and tiredness and I sometimes skip heartbeats but it's not as bad as it may sounds. I'm really fine.
I hate hospitals so I stay away from them as much as I can. But yeah, I should do a check up every 6 months (but I'm doing it only once a year or even less... I know it's bad)

I hadn't really thought about marriage or having a family when I'd been 16... I mean, I was 16 and it was the pinnacle of my teenage-dom and all I had loved then were books, my music and my writing. hahaha... All I wanted to do back then was to get out of high school and leave and never go back. But now... I want to have a baby? Not a husband though. I don't think about having a husband, but I want a baby? A lot of people that I've talked to have told me that this is a strange mindset to have, that it goes against the societal norms of the East, but I don't want a husband. I've seen what my parents went through and it really, really is just scary. I just don't want my child to have to grow up with two parents who seem to only be together because of duty and not because they really love each other. So yeah. Having children had always been on the back of my mind,but not soo obvious until I had been diagnosed.
I think my mum has something like you're having... She has a valve in her heart that doesn't work to well? So at night she gets stuff like palpitation when she gets too stressed. YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR DOCTORS APPOINTMENT!! Don't skip on them! >< You might never know that a doctor's appointment might just save your life? hahaha... I go every three to four months. I'm not on insulin injections anymore, but nor on meds. I want to go back on the jabs though. I think they give me better control. Naww... Thinking about those things with your legs isn't dumb nor is it stupid. It's a very human thing to do. ^^ I was freaking insufferable for months. heheh...

Actually when a was in kindergarten, my teacher asked me to draw my future family... and I drew me and my 3 children (The elder, an asian boy, next an afro-american boy and then a girl who looked a bit like me)... but no husband... My teacher and parents were shocked!! And I soooo understand that you don't want your child to grow up with parents that don't love each other... My parents were too young when they had me (I was an accident...even if they had never said so) and when I was 3, they got divorced and the two of them fell into depression... And now, they both have a new life, with new husband/wife and kids... and I'm the thing that belong to the part of their life that they want to forget... so since I'm 6/7 I've been used to take care of myself because my father thinks that giving me money means he's taking care of me... And my mom... well she was too sick and too down to do a lot for me... So yeah I support you as much as I can!!!

Don't worry, I'm not taking any risks. I'm just skipping a heartbeat sometimes and it makes me cough... or when I run or am stressed, my heart beats really fast... but it's ok. It's just that, there's an hereditary heart malformation so even if I try not to think about, i guess that my heart problems are part of it... But I'm an optimistic girl you know so... I believe that I will not develop the disease... (I just had a loooong and serious (at least for her) conversation with one of my friend so I kinda forgot what was my point before... )
Anyway... I'm not going too often to the hospital because it's not heavy for now... I can live absolutely well without doing check ups often... but if it comes to be needed one day, be sure I will do everything.

You grew up too fast hun... ;___; Maybe in this day and age, the normal family structure does not apply anymore. There's just too much problems for it to ever function fully. Oh! Sure, I'll definitely change my mind should a guy comes around that makes me feel otherwise about a life with him. But I seriously doubt it? My mother went through a bout of depression because of early onset menopause, and that period of time was just something I remembered as making sure my sister doesn't get hit too much. I'm insanely protective of my sis and it's weird to most people? hahaha... But considering our childhood, I think it warrants a pair of siblings like us. I still find it hard to believe that she is gonna be 18 in a months time... I know how you feel about taking care of yourself. It is a task that unfortunately (and fortunately) befalls us too early in life.
I really emulate my mum, but at this point in time I can't wait to be away from her?
